Can seniors in independence be allowed to eat at Palmer center

Judy Harris | Sep 14, 2018
Vicki Butterfield | Sep 14, 2018

Yes. You can call and make a reservation or you can do the walk in and get on the list. Most of the time they can accommodate walkins. My parents go daily and the food isn't bad and plenty of conversation, socialization and activity groups to be a part of.

Yes

Why doesn't the Palmer Center honor Silver Sneakers. Why do you need an award letter. None of the other Gyms require this. It's hard to get around to get these things and they will not help you. Why?

If you have silver sneakers through your insurance they honor it and they also issue you their own parks and recreation silver sneakers card that they like you to use because I do that. By the way senior citizens goes across better than old folks... Thanks

What's the price on lunch and what time?

Karen Lewis | Sep 14, 2019
Mele-Alyce Utz | Sep 14, 2019

Only around $4 it is given as a donation and you need to call the day before to get on the list... Otherwise if you just walk in you take a chance that by the time money when you get to eat there will be food left.

What's included in the rent

Not sure what you mean. Palmer Center is for community activities, exercise, diners, dancing, etc.

Are the computers available to seniors that are returning to college and don't have a computer at home?
