PP has helped me thoroughly with my needs since the first day. They have been polite and understanding in all of the questions I've had in regarding my health and decisions, and I am someone who asks a lot of questions. Because I am a low-income person, PP has assisted me with providing financial aid that is funded by the government. I have never had an appointment that was more than the funds I had available in my own pocket, and all the medicines that I have been prescribed have been easy on my budget as well. PP also provides me with free medical supplies that I need at home that lasts months for me, and they are kind enough to take care of my Sharps containers when the containers have reached capacity. They gave me a new larger Sharps container for free, so that I couldn't have to pay ~$20 at the pharmacy! Thank you Planned Parenthood Joplin and Springfield.

First I would say that they should change their phone system. There shouldn't be a reason why I am not able to talk to someone at the front desk and the automated person doesn't give options to speak to anyone at the desk. What's the point of putting a contact number on their website if you can't even contact them? Very frustrating!

Took very good care of me. Explained my diagnosis. Actually called and checked up with me. Sent me a paper explaining my diagnosis and sent me recommended care facilities near by. Answered every question I ever had. I have NEVER EVER been treated so well by any care facility.

Thank you for your question, Jordan! At this time, we do not offer gender-affirming hormone therapy. We are actively working to provide this service in the near future, but do not have an ETA at this time. The nearest Planned Parenthood locations that provides HRT are in Kansas City and Little Rock.
