As a resident here for over eight years, I would highly recommend Prairie Homestead Senior Living to anyone who needs to downsize, to live on one level with no stairs, to have maintenance care for anything that should go wrong in your apartment and not to have any lawn care worries. I love the Christian faith-based environment and friendships I have made. There are many activities and interests which can keep you as busy as you want to be but don't have to be! A lovely dining room and wonderful food are available, as well as a beauty salon, fitness room, fine library, and chapel, with vespers held each Sunday afternoon. I am so thankful we moved here when we did, and my husband used to say he wished we had moved here ten years earlier!

Prairie Homestead Senior Living is a family setting. Staff feel like they are taking care of family. Assisted Living residents make me feel good about myself and make me keep wanting to come back to work everyday. I have worked here three and a half years and wouldn't give it up for anything in the world. They are my distant family.

Diana, Our Patio Homes have a storm shelter in the master bedrooms and we have two storm shelters in our Assisted Living. The utilities you would be responsible for depend on the unit you choose.
