Tried calling the Sedgwick County Sheriff about a situation with my car being broke down in the middle of the road. Called about 5 or more times with no response, so I had to dail 911. Luckily there was no accident. There should always be someone to answer the phones, because you never know what's going to happen.

I am here at the jail trying to get my husband's property. I have been waiting for over an hour now. I've taken off work to do something that should take maybe 30to45 minutes. I'm told it will probably take a couple of hours. They don't care that I need to get back to work. They are rude and treat you like a 2nd class citizen. I'm not the criminal. I'm the person that works ,pays my taxes that happens to pay their salaries. If they don't like their job then get another one. I've been on the other side and have seen these deputies do nothing but play grabass and socialize with each other. I have to do my job in a professional and timely manner. I don't understand why they can't do the same.

They have inmates answering the phone and the inmates answer the phone and just sit on the phone. I have been trying to call and check on my daughter that was beating up real bad while in handcuffs....

Stopped and ticketed for speeding. The deputy could not have been more unprofessional and was borderline abusive. But at least we didn’t end up dead… not everyone survives the Sedgwick County traffic stop.
