I love being creative. I paint, make jewelry, beading, and many of the items I use can only be found at Michaels. Sure, you can order anything online, but if you're impatient and in the middle of a project and you need something right now, Michaels is open late, 9pm, I think, and they have a great selection. They are a bit pricey, but if you watch for the sales, there's some really great deals on clearance. Look for the little tags that say 50% off or there's a whole clearance aisle towards the back that always has something fun.

I love how close this store is to home, but am not a fan of the limited stock. They’re always out of everything. Great for them though!

Very good craft store. My only issue with this store is I spend way to long in it and I always find something that's to good of a price to not buy it even though I don't need it at that time. I usually end up getting the look when I get home and show off my "great deal". So just beware that you can find yourself sleeping on the couch.
