Do you take desks? I have a large wooden one in excellent condition (6 ft by 3 ft) and a medium desk (leather top and in great shape. Do you come to the house to pick them up??

Due to the closure of the Vancouver Salvation Army Thrift Store, we are not able to take furniture. Our space is dedicated to food relief. Food and monetary donations are welcome for food purchases and rent/utility assistance.

Are low-income single adults with no kids able to receive food or is it just for low-income families?

Do they accept furniture? New and a roommate are leaving and don't wanna just throw them away if someone will take them. They will need some work done

If clothing a household items are donated, do the refugees have to buy them?

Refugees?? As in immigrants fleeing other countries that are dangerous, such as war-torn countries? You only want your donations to go to them? Or are you donating in general, for all low-income people and the homeless, like a typical donation? Not sure if you can specify EXACTLY who it goes to... but I’m sure no one has to pay. <3 :-)
