The grounds look way better than they have been looking. Grounds keepers are doing awesome, n the fishing is going okay.

Nice wide open space

Great place to take the kids for a picnic and to play at the park!

As with any situation, you need to be smart, keep your eyes open, and be alert. Don't run with earbuds in both ears. I have walked at 5:30 a.m. with a friend and never seen anybody that would give me pause. Just be smart.
Bittersweet has a large variety of fish. Trout, cutbow, perch, bluegill, channel catfish and carp. You'll find some smaller large mouth bass in the spring. They do stock the lake at least once per season.
Pardon plenty of penguins...but there's a whole palace of perfectly parkable parking here at this park to park at parkers...
No,but will soon check it out.
It says dogs must be on a leash and stay on the trails, no alcohol and I don't remember but there some other rules on it too.
Just this one that I know of.
There is a 1.2 million sign at the inside part of the bridge. I'm thinking once around on the outside all the way around.
No, it is posted to stay out of the lake.

No you cannot swim in the lake. There is a pool close by, Centennial pool it's open from noon till 5 p.m.. and it cost $5 to get in the gate. Enjoy cooling off. Peace out
I believe you can fish at Bittersweet Park. Trout, bluegill, crappie.
I think you can have a ceremony there but you have to reserve the space and rent chairs from a rental store. That's what a friend of mine did for there wedding at one of the other parks in Greeley
Lots of people walk their dogs here. Greeley does have a no pet in the park policy, but they are welcome on the outer paths.
1. It's not really big enough for that. One or two people mayb, but it would get crowded real quick. 2. Since they don't allow you to actually get in the water to even swim, guessing they don't want people out in the water where they could have to swim back to shore. I haven't been local long enough to recommend any good places, but the national parks are very close and very peaceful and beautiful. Worth the short drive there for the insanely serene experience you won't find elsewhere. Happy adventures!
