1. It's not really big enough for that. One or two people mayb, but it would get crowded real quick. 2. Since they don't allow you to actually get in the water to even swim, guessing they don't want people out in the water where they could have to swim back to shore. I haven't been local long enough to recommend any good places, but the national parks are very close and very peaceful and beautiful. Worth the short drive there for the insanely serene experience you won't find elsewhere. Happy adventures!
Not that ive noticed.
I have not noticed people kayaking at this park. Further north on 35th ave. There is a place called Puder pond fishery. There is a parking area for boats and kayaks and I see people out on the water a lot.

I've seen RC things on the water, but that's it. It's a very small pond.
