Got sent to collections over a Urgent Care visit that was covered. Repeatedly sent these guys my information with no reply. Now they're actively trying to garnish my wages. Seems like all they care about is collecting money and not about whether or not it's legitimate.

I wish I could give less than one star. This company put 3 separate derogatory accounts on my credit report in December of 2019. All of these accounts showed up on my credit report the same day after never receiving anything by mail. I attempted to communicate with this company a few times but they ask for sensitive information which I am not comfortable with giving to a company who calls at all hours, has employees who literally cuss at you, and who hang up on you when you attempt to get them to send proof of debt. All three of these accounts say they originate from Cox Medical Group in Springfield, Missouri. Not only do I not owe money to Cox, but I just got off of a phone call with the Cox billing department that lasted an hour and a half. Cox is unable to find anything related to these alleged debts, and after extensive digging in their system and multiple supervisors being involved, Cox is filing a dispute for me. To be clear, the original creditor says I do not owe this money and that they never sent these accounts to this collection agency. This company has broken so many laws regarding collections activities yet they have an A- rating with the BBB somehow. My guess is when people make a BBB claim that the company rectifies it in order to keep a good rating, but from what I can tell this is not a legitimate business and they engage in criminal collections activities. If this company calls you or posts an account on your credit report, DO NOT CALL THEM. Call the listed original creditor and dispute the accounts through the credit bureaus.

I would find proof that you have a prior arrangement set up. To be completely honest. I have no idea, they are ruthless about collecting on debt. Find any and all proof of prior payments and an arrangement set up.

I ask for account numbers they sent them to me and now when i call to make a payment they cant find accounts. Why cant they find the account numbers they sent me?????

If you research this company Has The worse reputation. I have had dealings with them. They will get their money no matter what including yanking money out of your bank account without warning. If they cannot find your account then clear out your bank account and prepare for the worst.

Debt collection made a major mistake trying to collect a debt. They got our bank account number wrong. Now they want us to pay for a bounced check our bank says never found in our account. What should we do to convince them it is there mistake?
