The best Japanese grocery store in Denver, and probably for a ways around too. The staff are friendly and helpful. This place is a pillar in the greater denver AAPI community! Try their ready-made foods in the fridge by the fish counter if you don't know what else to try :)

Really great for Asian groceries. Mostly Japanese groceries and they have some Hawaiian stuff.

LOVE this store! They need to carry the many flavors of onigiri that the Japanese 7-11carries LOL 😍

They have pens, erasers, notebooks, and more. The stationery section is pretty small, but I don't know of many other places in Denver that have anything comparable. Oh, there's also a lot of origami paper!
Yes they do. They have good variety of brands in the frozen section!!!
Hello! Currently we are requiring masks to be worn in the store and tell our customers to social distance as much as possible. We do wipe down all basket handles after every customer. We try to wipe other frequently touched surfaces when we can. And we do offer curbside for those not comfortable coming into the store.
Hi Edwin, unfortunately we don't sell pre packaged Onigiri. We only have our sushi bentos. Sakura House next door to our store has an onigiri bento that is very delicious. In the future, we are hoping to carry pre packaged onigiri, we'll keep you updated!
Yes
They even have ceremonial grade equipment!
Not sure. Just call them, they'll help
Hi Jennifer! We just sold out of that botan ame, the one in the blue box. We are trying to reorder from our distributor. If you would like to call us so we can get your phone number when we do receive this product back in stock, we would be happy to do so!
Hello! So unfortunately we can't stock Georgia coffee. Our distributors are having a hard time getting it imported to the US. There is an ingredient that I believe the FDA won't approve here in the states. Sorry about that, we're hoping one day they'll allow us to carry it again!
Hello! We do sell siaopao, they're frozen. We have BBQ, chicken, adobo, and bola bola.
I'm not sure if they sell taro leaves but a few months ago I noticed that they sold frozen Lau Lau just like the fresh ones they sell at Don Quijote in Hawaii. Best to call first.
No.
Check HMart or Pacific Ocean as well.
Im pretty sure they do. Just not sure if loose or bags
Yes
Yes they do but whole foods sale them by the each so if you only want one go to whole foods
I haven't ever noticed it there - but I've never been looking for it either. These questions don't go directly to the store, you'd have better luck calling to ask. 🙂
Are you talking about candied ginger root? Not sure. But they have pickled ginger root and fresh ginger root.
Not likely. They specialize in Japanese products.
Agreed..some items are seasonal or infrequent. Very helpful when you call.
They do sell some asian medicines. Not sure about Ang Ki but they carry a selection.
Not the same as the ones in 7-11s in Tokyo or family Marts in Okinawa.
They had Dragon Fruit in their fresh produce the last time I was there.
No, try the market on 6th and Chambers in Aurora that sells Filipino goods and balikbayan boxes!
