As a tenant, my entire apartment was full of mold for THREE MONTHS before they let me break the lease. It was fumigated multiple times but the source of the water was never fixed so it kept coming back. Floor to ceiling. Entire walk-in closed full of mold. I had to throw away nearly everything I owned. Make sure to rent with a male roommate, because it seemed like I was never once taken seriously. I called, texted, emailed about the mold with zero replies for OVER A MONTH. My boyfriend sends one email and boom, people there to fumigate within 48hrs.
