This was our first fly fishing trip in Colorado, so not being familiar with the hatch, local techniques or knowing any hot spots, we decided to hire a guide. While we hooked into at least a dozen nice trout, and landed a few too, we definitely hit the fly fishing guide lottery with Ian. I’m tempted to give a poor review so he’ll be available for my next fly fishing trip, but that would be totally disingenuous because Ian is a fly fishing Jedi Master. From the first time he reached out to us to coordinate the trip until the last cast, it was clear his focus on our success - as we defined “success.” Ian knew where the fish were, watched our technique and taught both the science and “soft skills” of fly fishing. His passion for the art of fly fishing, at the same time bringing us along on the adventure, was brilliant! We’ll be going out again in the spring and for my money it’s Ian or no one.

I was in Denver for a business conference and had an opportunity to sneak away for a day on the water. My guide, Ian Sullivan was awesome! I'm new to fly fishing and I learned so much from him. To top it off, I netted the largest rainbow trout I ever caught. I'm planning another trip to Denver in the Fall and Ian will be my guide again.

We do not do rod repair. But if it is a rod with a warranty and we carry that brand we can assist in sending it back.
Beginners are welcome on all of our trips and are all lesson inclusive.
No, they do not sell live bait. It's a fly fishing shop so they don't sell lures either. They sell all things fly fishing.
Depends on what you are looking for but I recommend swinging by with your child and talking with them. They will do a good job fitting the right pole, reel, and setup.
