Filled with grass, quite a ways from the shore. Makes paddling really hard unless you stay in the center of the lake.

The boat launch area is inundated with seaweed and it clogged up my JetSki and prevented the water cooler from functioning properly so we had to cut the day short. I would like to give a better review maybe if the city removes the seaweed from the boat launch area in the public beach area I could give a better review.

It's pretty to look at, but that's it.... No fish. No beach. The boat ramp is really old and falling apart. The floating dock is falling apart. And the lake is completely covered in grass/weeds all over the bottom of the lake, so swimming would be unpleasant and maybe even dangerous (you may get tangled up!)

A decent lake. Caught my first bass here earlier this summer off the dock, but no luck since then. It looks like fishing on a boat on this lake is more productive and I often see people coming back in with several trout. The park has a few picnic tables and a restroom that they lock at dusk. Call me crazy, but the last time I went into the bathroom a few months ago, none of the stall dividers were in place so it was just an open room with a couple of toilets. I'll update this review the next time I go over there about the bathroom situation.

Camp Makeen across the lake may have boat rentals, my need a military or retired I.d. to get one.
The one "around the corner" is if you take Kitsap Way and veer left at Red Apple. Turn left toward the lake (about 3/4 mile from Red Apple). Watch to the left about 1/2 mile to a road that heads down toward the water.
I'm not sure. We don't have a boat. I just go to hang out, enjoy the beauty, and de-stress sometimes. You might want to call the parks department to find out.
