Great place for a walk or run. The playground is great and has plenty of things for kids to do, and the field is perfect for sports or flying a kite. The Rose Garden is a really great backdrop for pictures.

Fantastic park! Lansing definitely is taking good care of their communities.

Here was a hidden gem, especially in Autumn. Beautiful trails, autumn colors, relaxaing and quiet park!

Yes you will have to rent it for something big like that, and the bus line I am not so sure of
By staying on Moore's River Dr, and going to the entrance.
I was there just last week, they did have both entrances closed but they were also doing construction work on the entrance. However you're still able to park down at the Frances Park River parking and walk up to the trail. That's what me and some others have done
City of Lansing, Parks & Recreation Dept.
Yes you can have a wedding there in the rose garden or overlooking the river just have to call and see if your date is available
Yes, has a nice playground, bathrooms and even a basketball court
Yes
No. There are a number (>6<20) of picnic tables outside of the pavilion that are available on a first come > first serve basis without a reservation or fee.
Yes, there are plenty of tables available but they are all first come first serve
Yes with 6' or shorter leash. But I don't think it's being watched so hardcore that anyone is going to notice a longer leash. And if separate from anyone, a well trained loose dog playing fetch. Only an officer might say something, but I even doubt that.

Yes
Many people use the park for photo opportunities, no problems.
Dogs are welcome in the park, but are restricted from walking in the "Rose Garden". They are welcome on trails, walkways, yards.
Contact the city but I think the park is closed now
I don't believe that's part of the parks department. I think it's a privately owned business.
This is a day use facility only park closes at dusk
