Wonderful place... when it's open! The actual hours are hit and miss and sometimes its not open on the inside.... it is loud like a California library. Even had a concert there once held by some kids who played some punk music. The girls are quite talented. You can find some of their music on youtube! The homeless population is quite friendly and very helpful! You can also walk up to any homeless person and ask them a library question and they will usually know the answer. They are quite helpful! I suffer from IBS and frequent the men's bathroom. Sometimes, there is a person sleeping in the stall and I really have to go. But give em a couple of bucks and they will leave the stall and let you do your business in peace. There is also usually a crowd of smokers outside who help cover up the homeless smell with their smoking smell. They are not homeless, or at least don't look homeless. I liked to smoke when I was younger... I am not knocking them. This is really appreciated. Not every homeless person there has used the bathroom facilities to bathe in the sink. There is also a statue outside of the library of some weird looking giant bird who is eating some giant french fries. Not sure what the story is behind this creature but I am sure its a real riot during Halloween! It looks scary enough to keep the kids away. The printing quote has been reduced to just a few pages. It used to be about fifty pages and now its about five. But if you are smart and need to print a lot of stuff, you can always come back next week if the library is open. Again, when this place is open, its so much better than either library in Federal Way and ten times better than the one in Kent! Did I mention that they also lend out DVD's? Lot of classic movies in the library! While the movies are usually not in stock, you can put yourself on a waiting list and come pick up the DVD movie when its ready.

Pretty nice place to use the internet and check out your favorite book! ...might need to work on the amount if homeless traffic around the kids, but,

I come here often to use their study rooms and the staff is always warm and friendly. I appreciate their compassion towards the patrons who come here to be safe, warm and just to play some computer games. Although not the largest library in size, it had everything you need to enjoy your visit, whether to study, work or read a book.

No. The King County Library System does not offer exam proctoring services. Other local library systems and community colleges offer this service (some with a fee). Pierce County Library: https://www.piercecountylibrary.org/services/proctoring/ Green River Community College: https://www.greenriver.edu/students/academics/assessment-testing-center/proctored-testing/ Highline Community College: https://placeandtest.highline.edu/tests/proctor-services/ http://www.southseattle.edu/student-assessment-services/exam-proctoring.aspx
Thats Monday through Friday. Staurday and Sunday have different times so if you were going to go in on the weekend, especially Sunday, I'd check the website first.
Free for the entire King County Library System with a valid address. Although, fees apply for returning a late book. Don't be tardy.
The IRS will send a limited supply of tax forms to KCLS libraries. Each library will also receive a set of reproducible forms and a copy of Publication 17 for use in the library. Please visit the tax information blog post on our website for a list of forms that will be available and a link to the IRS site to check the status of shipped forms: https://kcls.org/blogs/post/tax-help-forms-and-information-at-your-library/
We're not sure what your question is, can you tell us more?
All KCLS libraries are closed on Monday for the Memorial Day holiday.
I DONT KNOW IM WONDERING TOO
I know they used to. If they dont then Green River Community College does! But if you want to know about what classes the library offers, you can either visit their website or call them directly... This is a place to ask questions of other reviewers... The actual businesses dont monitor these things regularly.
