This organization is truly fake, they treat individuals who need help as if they are no better than a stray animal that wandered in their back yard. The majority of the is ill suited for jobs, lacking in understanding and compation or concern for they're plight. The meals they provide especially the breakfast is substandard where it concerns the fact they will be putting men out on the street at 5:30 in the morning with no place to go or find a decent meal in or around the area for many hours. Cold cereal or bowl of Luke warm oat meal that's better suited fixing holes in dry wall. Using the the word ministries is disrespectful in every sense of the word. One would truly be desperate to stay there, sharing space with bed bugs and other forms of infestations.

Can i get a bed at this shekter today house burned down from an electrical fire
Is it clean
I'm sorry, but they're closing this place, and if he needs structure, clean & sober housing this is the LAST place you'd want to send him. They're being shut down because their main client was MDOC, that is, the Michigan Department of Corrections, who's "clients," that is, parolees, used to be on the fifth floor, were removed because this place is not fit for human habitation (by health-department rules); that's why MDOC pulled their contract and moved all of the parolees out, plus it's Highland Park; there's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO AROUND HERE. I always wondered why people used to congregate in these three or four spots; well, it's 'cause they're near the three liqor stores within a stone's throw of the place and THERE'S NOTHING ELSE TO DO AROUND HERE. I usually found something when the weather was good, but now that it's getting cold I'm tempted. Their 3rd St. facility is not much better physical-plant wise, but there is stuff to do there. Try the Salvation Army at 1627 W. Fort St.
No pets are allowed
No unless you get a permanent room. Then they charge you a percentage of what you make. The shelter is free
