How are you going to give someone a ticket for not having their registration and proof of insurance readily available when I told you my car is in the shop and I’m borrowing my mom‘s car to please give me a minute. By the time you came back I had it in hand and you told me now I can deal with it at the court. How about do your job right then and there and don’t make extra work for people that have lives and jobs. They need to start seeing people as human beings!

The most corrupt police department I know. At the time of my traffic stop, the officer, which was a black female — not sure of her name or badge number, admits to doing 43 in a 30. Mind you, I was doing 35 and she said I passed her. How? When has the police been the guideline for when traffic should slow down and how far above they should be, when you’re admittedly doing 13mph above the speed limit yourself? So, you’re above the law because of a badge and a dollar tree pay wage? Took my vehicle. Fight real crime! Your chief who was elected last year was fired from DPD after serving 20 yrs for drunk driving and crashing a police vehicle. Officers in your department contribute to the demise of HP — predominately black community— over your ego and small traffic infractions. I will fight this in court. I hate this broke city.
