This district and Liberty school have let me down more than a few times. They don’t take students or parents seriously. They give attitude. It’s all very unprofessional and it’s very sad because this district never used to be this way.

We are almost 1.5 miles far from school still they didn’t provide us school bus service because state rules means either me or my wife have to have at home just because of school pick up n drop off . We can’t even go for work means how can we manage

Unacceptable! The school will do anything possible to hold your kids back so they can get federal funding for special services instead of doing their job and teaching our kids. No accountabilities, most disappointing is the school’s lack of reasons why our kids missed so much school during the school year due to the never ending “pandemic “ excuse. Experts agree that virtual learning is not a substitute. The school blames the school board for making decision such as holding kids home for 18 days( in my case) because my kids were near a sick person, disregarding pediatrician’s recommendations. The school nurse is playing “ Boarder patrol” hiding behind outdated regulations excuses on their website. Academically speaking, absolutely no Emphasis on mathematical learning. The teacher emailed me “Due to the pandemic, your child's reading level and words per minute score are the only scores that were assessed. These scores will assist the school next year in identifying if your child qualifies for any services, such as read or math support. “ Rethink if you consider moving to this school district!

District 135 thinks it is "'safe" for a 6 year old (1st grade student) to walk 1.2 miles to school (26 minutes) that would involve BUSY streets with no sidewalks. I am truly outraged that you would be supportive of such a terrible rule & regulation. Clearly child safety is NOT your priority.
