If you happen to get turned around or are lost in the area, DO NOT pull in their parking lot to try and figure out where you are and re-orient yourself. Three people approached my car in less than five minutes to inform me that I cannot be there unless I’m on mission business 🙄 did you happen to notice I have out-of-state plates and I was looking at the map on my phone?! it’s not like I took up the last parking place, the parking lot was only a third full and I parked out away from the building so as not to tie up the parking spaces for the people there to do business. I certainly hope you are not so rude with the people who are there for help

A few years ago I had the pleasure of dining here and thoroughly enjoyed the fresh steelhead...prefer it over salmon. Yum !! The women's shelter was a horror.shovefundamentalistreligiondownyourthroat !!

This place is a leap ahead of the usual free meal mission's. You call ahead for actual reservations and are seated in a cafe area at tables as they are cleared. They bring salads breads and drinks and allow you to order which meal you prefer. The portions are always filling and always offer 2 entres of extra yummy foods are offered. And a nice dessert after the meal! Service is Great too!

The Main Ingredient Restaurant experience yesterday was perfect! I did expect more people there. It was clean, the staff was friendly and sociable. It was a bummer I couldn't take my leftovers. The meat had the right amount of succulent fat. (Which is my favorite part of the meat) I did not leave hungry. I left full and blessed. I would recommend The Main Ingredient to anyone I know. Thank you.

To better serve our guests we require anyone seeking shelter to be pre-screened before receiving shelter with us. After the screening is complete, we will schedule you a time to go through the intake process with one of our Program Managers who will briefly explain our programs to better meet your needs. We will get back to as soon as possible during regular business hours (Monday thru Friday from 9:00am – 4:00pm). If you apply during non-business hours you will have to wait for the next business day to see if you are able to go through the intake process. We are more than happy to contact you by phone when your screening is complete to schedule an intake. If you do not have a phone check back with us an hour after you complete your application or the next business day.
You could go there right now and they would give u shelter
A couple of hours
Yes you can smoke outside. Didnt quite understand what you meant by "is this a working mission?" but the guys that stay there have to work there doing odd jobs.
This is a men's only shelter anybody is eligible as long as they do not have any sex crimes. You can get five nights of shelter and then apply for dare program whichever allows you to continue to stay there while looking for work or while beginning work or doing something in your life that is productive positive and gets worked on daily. You must be in by 9 p.m. and I highly recommend bringing your own sleeping bag just for comfort alone but I stayed there and I made it off the streets and it's a god-sent
Dinner reservation line opens at 2:30 every day. 541-245-4358
Some homeless need help getting into a home. Non-homeless need help paying bills.
Head west from the bus station to find either grape st or holly st then north to find jackson but u can't miss it, 15 min walk tops. Mind your manners. Bite your tongue, be respectful they will help u a lot they have clothes, shelter, and great food.
Rouge Retreat is a wonderful program. 711 E. Main St in Medford is the correct address but they are in Suite 25 upstairs. They have a shelter that does accept couples, there is also a tiny house program that is run by them for people who can afford a small monthly fee ( I believe it's under$100). So far I am enjoying everyone who I have met through them (I'm currently living at the shelter), I especially like my counselor Sylvia. I am treated with respect and courtesy. They feed us good and healthy food, there is a laundry facility, three shower's, four bathrooms, a smoking area for those of us still caught in our addiction's...lol😬! I suffer from Crohn's disease, one lung and Dysplasia and not once have I been disrespected or embarrassed about any of my limitations ( believe me it does happen alot out there in the "REAL" world). Sure we have rules,we didn't get here cause we are stellar examples of how to be successful tenants. I sure can use all the help I can get with budgeting!
Don't know. Over a month I think.
Melissa, thank you for asking. We have a no pet policy at both of our shelters.
