This place has some magic feelings. If you have a bad day or some stressful things, the wave or the wave sound will take all of the bad things away! The sand is vey clean. Every time , I have been here, I can feel the standing sand when I was on my bad. To this place, you can walk here. You can take the bus. Or you can ride the bike. In summer time, you will see a lot of family come here to chill. The lake water is also cleaning. A lot of people will go to swim! There might be having some diving exercises here too. But sorry I didn’t do that, cannot give any advice.

This is such a cute little beach with beautiful views of the city. I like to come here to relax and watch the soft waves crashing in.

Yes
Yes it is
No, the beaches are not open, but the restaurant is actually on the beach 😎
Park your car at home, and depending on where you live you should Uber there.
Yes, it's open but it's supposed to be chilly on 6/2!
Yep
There are at the restaurant part on the beach. You are not allowed to bring alcohol on the beach from the restaurant though.the cabanas are not on the beach.
Yes beach is free as are all Chicago beaches. Parking exist nearby and you can get it for about 10 bucks a day using spothero or similar apps. Probably end up with two blocks to walk to beach
I would say no. If the waves did get that high(very rare), they usually keep people out of the water.
With Navy Pier is right next door I'd take a nice extreme boat cruise and chase it down with a rainbow cone. I would suggest you not reverse order as the cruise is extreme and the rainbow cones best enjoyed going down not up.
Yes there’s a launching area. Not sure about the cost
Yes you can rent or bring your own.
It's probably a decent spot for a beach party, but there's not a beach dock to rent out, it's a public beach.
Yes
Yes it is open
No!!! it's under construction.
Yes but we have to make distance
No they do not
Pay per plate parking 4 dollars an hour.
Ohio street is one of the most secure beaches in Chicago. By it being very close to Navy Pier, there is always a police presence. I go there a lot at night by myself, with my wife, and have never had a problem. Anywhere you go be alert, I he cops won't really mess with you until after 11pm so you should be alright. All the nonsense about "its dangerous" is nonsense.
Yes but not for swimming
Its supposed to close at 10pm but cops cant fully enforce it
Just watch Marley and Me and every dog lover will understand why dogs aren't allowed on the beach.
Not sure, but I think they close down all public beaches at 11pm. Don't think they'll shoo you away, but they have the right to
