Thanks Marie! We are happy to buy silver plate at $1.00 per pound as Marie kindly informed. We also make sure to inspect all pieces brought in and pay more if they are sterling or of a better make. It is not uncommon for smaller sterling items such as forks or spoons to accidentally get mixed in. Thanks for asking!

Hi Mike, Thanks for the question. It really depends on how noticeable the error is, if it is very minor you would have a hard time finding someone who would want to pay much of a premium. If it is a noticeable error you may want to consider having it certified by PCGS or NGC through a reputable coin shop such as ours or any other shop that is a member of the PNG. Feel free to send us clear pictures to our email and I will see if it would be worth further consideration.

Hi, I am guessing you are referring to the US Commemorative set. There are 3 different versions of that set. There is a 2 coin, a 3 coin or a 6 coin set. If you wanted to email us a picture to make it more easily identifiable, I would be happy to give you a price.
