Twice a year the lake is stocked with fish. In the cooler months good for trout, and in the summer months a nice assortment of catfish and bass.Texas gaming laws must be observed to fishing.

Mike Nichols | Nov 2, 2021
When I was there last you could walk down to the water from different sides. There are some areas where trees or a small bank hangs over a little. If you are looking for ADA accessible spots there are 2 or three areas I think you can get to reasonably.

LO is definitely NOT for swimming. Can't say any of the snakes I have seen were venomous but it's their space so just let them be. People fish there, however once you see the water I don't think those fish are heading home to be dinner. Converse has a pool if you are looking for swimming. (I don't know if there's a fee.)
Universal City has an awesome splash pad if you just want to play in the water and it is FREE 😊
