PT is amazing!!! No complaints there. Nurses/CNA’s are nice but lack communication and are NOT detail oriented. Mom was there for 4 weeks. I reconciled her medications on the first day. They messed up her pain meds 3 times. (They wouldn’t listen to her. She had to call me and have me come to the facility before anyone would listen.) On discharge I found out she was given a medication that had been discontinued (and I reconciled) for the last 4 weeks. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I had to contact the Nursing Director twice and even had to come in and unclog her feeding tube when they were going to take her to the hospital to have it removed and a new one placed. (VERY painful!) Apparently, there is a physician over patient care but we never saw him/her and when things weren’t done or “orders had been changed” it was always the doctors doing??? Getting her oxygen setup on discharge was a complete mess. Luckily, I FOUND a company that could get us taken care of on a Friday afternoon. Like I said…. Nice people but…. HORRIBLE communication and NO attention to detail.
