It's a good place where you make lots of friends but I feel like the students can run the place better than the actual staff!
Francis Niyonzima
It’s good for people how are trying to find good jobs
Marjorie Lemons
A great learning experience for our youth seeking careers and educational goals towards success!
Rebecca Fuller
My kid goes here its a great way for your child to get a work at your own pace training.

My dad went to Job Corps around that time I believe. He isn't from Hollywood though lol. Do you remember any of your friends names or your childs fathers friends? **UPDATE** My father and his friends (my uncles) were there during 1977!
U need it
My experience there is dated, I attended in 1999, but back then the high school program was accredited with the State. That means you should be able to transfer credits you earned.
Current student, the answer is no, you cannot leave campus on a weeknight unless you take PTO, you're only allowed to leave on weekends and you must be back before 8:00pm on Sunday night
Yes there's normally 2 phones per dorm!
Have you considered using the Job Corps website? Basic internet literacy is a nice skill to have.
Yes
Do they really help with a job after
No! They don't any religious ties to lds or to any church! But if you do attend services they will make sure you are comdated! Its a government facility so no organize religion are taught here! As I said if you want to attend they have the means in the community to get you there!
You need to be sixteen to 24 years old, but maturity is not required here. You can act like a mentally deficient toddler, and they'd still accept you.
There's a Great Basin Highschool that we have on campus but the center is Clearfield Jobcorps. There is only one other center in Utah that is Weber Basin Jobcorps.
who r u referring to?
No vaping, and nobody under 21 in the smoke pit. You can smoke any time you aren't in trade, like on your breaks and lunch
The center is currently a closed campus but they are accepting students
Last I had heard they were bringing students back by order of who was closest to graduation
The Department of Labor (DOL) has not decided WHEN we re-open. But there are plans to accept new students soon.
No
I would go online to job corps they most likely have a web site with all those kinds of details
I was getting in a lot of trouble so it was good for me . If you're doing good in school and your not getting in trouble this is not for you there a lot of programs for you J C is a tuff place it can make you or break you EDD office can help you
The center director he is pretty understanding but do you know who the people or person that's discriminating him
This is more of a personal question may I message or email you?
Payphone when I was there lol
When I was there, we had ppl from like 30 different countries. Including Africa and America
If she is a minor, you might be able too! If she is over 18 probably not! Its an government campus so more then likely they will follow federal law privacy of student/employees. If you know her student #, what dorm she is in; you might be able to ship or mail a package to her! I hope that helps!
Yeah
If you mean do they do tours on the weekends, no. And if you're already in Job Corps you have to live on campus, you can stay in a hotel on the weekends or if you take PTO. But everyone lives in the dorms 24/7.
No
Please be more specific? Main office? Bookkeeping? I don't know about your question meant!
There are is a good amount of African-American students including people from Africa and Jamaica, the campus is really diverse, Russians, Thais Indians, Natives, Latinos, Europeans, Whites, Hawaiians, Australians, and Arabs or Persian people
I'm looking for a student
It's a po box address. You might need the dorm # also. Let me know if you need it.
Unfortunately, Job Corps doesn't provide this so called education you speak of, so you're kinda in the same boat buddy. :)
For what?
There is a computer repair trade. The first certification you get is the lockout tagout that has nothing to do with computers. Next get the IC3 which is basic computer literacy. Advanced searches, Microsoft office etc.. Some people get it in 1 day, others in 2 weeks, and some in 6+ months. It's pretty easy though if you've ever spent time on a computer and the internet. After that the real computer stuff begins. The Comptia A+ is the first real certification and prepares you to be a computer repair technician along with some basic networking. You'll learn how to fix hardware, software and network problems. The A+ is pretty basic. You get two chances per test (usually) and there are 2 tests. The 901 (Hardware) & the 902 (Software). If you pass those you go onto The Network+. After that, The Security+. Both of which are self explanatory. Most advanced CR Trade options require you to have at least The Network +.
They do. The trade just has you do busywork in the on-center warehouse. They call it "material handling" or something. However, you will have to slog through both Career Prep (a month and a half of glorified busywork) and then wait for an opening. If you're looking for staff jobs, go ask Walmart. They pay better.
24. However, there is no cutoff for maturity levels. You can act like a little gremlin and they'd let you in.
The center director loves doling out mass punishment, so we're a closed campus because some people here don't know how to behave themselves.
People are always getting kicked out, so yes.
Yes, they do. The real question is how long you can go without it getting stolen.
Only after they go in for the night and participate in the daily dorm scheduling of cleaning & of course going to sleep . As well as having a meeting, typically 5 intensive , stimulating, and pro active life building "group sessions" or dorm activity guidance .... needing adjustments....discussed. But I went in 2000 & I loved it.... tbh though there was I believe 2 different girls who became pregnant after they were given a clean bill of health upon arrival & were sent packing to their home bcuz sex is a no no .... fighting .... & caught using drugs .....or drinking on campus ....huge .... Usually gone within 24 hours...idk on the pregnancy stuff...but they were released for sure.... but I loved the experience Shout out 2 LIMA dorm .... Ms. H.... 01/04/2000
Yes along with a nationally recognized Toyota T-Ten program along with an autobody program
Yes it does
She's pretty alright. Not one of the worst staff here.
Collusion is something senators do with foreign powers to ensure their election. We do, however, offer basic auto. Something like half the gremlins here are in auto, be it basic or some flavor of advanced.
Yes, but they'll be written in crayon.
Deep question, man. Can any of us choose where we can go? ...I don't know anymore, man.
It depends on your instructor. Some will help you, most will tell you you're on your own.
Does he not have a cell phone or are they not allowed
Look, the stray cats are smarter than the students here. As long as you can breathe, you're good to go.
There's this funny little thing called the "postal system". You should try it sometime.
Go online and it will give ypu a number to a recruiter. Thats how we did it and my son is currently at utah center completeing welding course he qualified to go on to advanced welding at another center. Its awesome!!
Why would you want memories of this dump? I plan on getting drunk enough to forget any memories of this place once I leave.
Do you remember his name? Was it Billy? Because we lost a Billy last week.
Shrek compilations on Youtube, natch.
Tell him to take care of it himself. Security isn't going to do anything. Seriously, learning not to trust staff to do their jobs is one of the first things you learn on this center.
You've gotta waste about a month and a half doing busywork first. Then you've got to wait for openings in your trade. You'll be accepted when enough people get kicked out and we have enough openings in the dorms. So, about a month, due to the MAGIC OF PAPERWORK.
Yeah, but it'll be written in crayon.
The airport
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA No.
Possibility the staff could have been busy. I hope they do get back in touch with you. Keep trying to get in touch with them!
And
My grandson loves your role in Bambi. Keep up the good work.
They can't even afford decent regular dorms. Why would they waste money on couples dorms?
Thanksgiving isn't next week, it's in November.
I don't know, do you know how to use the post office?
You see, the answer is in the question. For you see, "ten" is inside "attend".
