This can be a good alternative if you did not complete high school. The way job corps is structured is more forgiving and work at your own pace for getting your diploma, GED, or HI-SET. You will be required to take a trade and be trained in that as well at the same time as your high school education.
Yes it is a good option. It gives you your education as well as a trade of your choice to learn and to hopefully start a career you desire
