Spent the week Mon-Fri camping here in August. Can’t beat the price and the beach was perfect. Camp sights are not far from the beach and are full hookup. Of course you need to be able to enter the installation in order to use them. The only negative things were beach access is only from 09:00-19:00 (7pm) so forget about taking an early morning stroll or run down the surf and they do not allow pets on the installation. Which sucks when you enjoy camping with your four legged friends.

We were here for the Boy Scout Camporee, this is a great facility and everyone was treated with respect.

They have spots that you can set your trailers up at. I believe you have to let them know when you plan on being there so a spot is reserved.
It's currently closed. I saw the sign when i was there on Saturday and Sunday
Yes, as long as you have a military or retired veteran ID
This is not a public beach. It is a state government facility that is usually closed to the public.
This is a restricted area and is not really open to the public. I was there for a special event.
