My husband and I eloped instead of having a traditional wedding and chose Simply Married as the venue. Everything about the experience was excellent--choosing a package and scheduling a marriage date was smooth and easy, and the actual ceremony was stress-free and fun! If you're in the Toledo/Detroit area and are thinking of eloping or just having a small wedding generally, I would HIGHLY recommend Simply Married. Plus, Lucas County, Ohio makes it very easy to get your marriage license, and Simply Married is right down the street from the courthouse (with free parking right next door, which is a huge plus in my book). All in all a great experience.

why is it so expensive? what if we only have 30 mins. max or maybe less than 30mins to get married since it will be tthe bride & groom only.
I booked ahead 1 month and they have packages you have to purchase. For $99 it is just you and groom. For $199 You can have 10 guests and it is $5 for each additional guest. You can choose your own music for ceremony too. They use a spotify account. I just got married on Valentine's day and it was so worth the money. There website is not accurate so I would call. I know the smallest package is $99 and the next is $199. Not sure how much the other packages are.
Reservations are not required during business hours but recommended. This ensures that you don't end up running into a scheduled ceremony and have to wait.

Depends on which package you get. Me and my husband did the one where we could have 10 guests it was 30 minutes you can use the space for and bridal room rental and it was $277. It was very nice we did not feel rushed you can add extra time while you are there if they don't have any other reservations.

Simply married needs a license to perform a wedding. Courthouse is across the street, takes 20 minutes to get a license. No waiting period

There are two parking lots. 1. Erie and madison with the entry on Madison. 2. Huron and Adams with the entry on Superior. 3. The streets are also lined with meters if you can find one. We normally get lucky with a meter on Huron.
Their cheapest package is called the Just Us package and sounds very similar to what you're looking for. It's $99 and is only available on week days. They have all pricing info on their website www.simplymarriedldt.com We got married there and the place is just GORGEOUS. Happy wedding!
