The Yavapai Lodge is the perfect place to stay when visiting the Grand Canyon. It is far enough away from the bustle of the village but still in the National Park where you feel you are around everything. It has a delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner and tavern (for dinner and drinks). The rooms were clean, updated and lovely. There is a food market right there. I wouldn't stay anywhere else next time we go back!

Great place to stay when visiting the Grand Canyon (especially if you're most interested in the South Rim). Room was clean, spacious, dog friendly, TV, fridge (no microwave), walking distance to the main building (where you check-in/out) that has a couple restaurants and gift shops. Easy drive to several large parking lots or equally easy walk to Mather Point and start of the the South Rim Trail. Very friendly staff and very helpful. No wifi in the rooms - only in the main building, so just expect to unplug a bit. Door cards too unlock are a bit tricky. Would absolutely stay again!

First time visiting Grand Canyon and this lodge was a great place to stay at. My room was on the second floor and in building 2. The room was tidy and had the basic items like a fridge and television. I really liked that the lodge provided bath & body works shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and body wash. It wasn't the typical travel size versions but a full size, but this is more environmentally friendly and lets you use more. It was a pleasant surpriss. The shower was nice and clean and bed was comfortable. The only bad thing is that there is no elevator which was difficult in bringing luggage in. The lodge is also near a shuttle stop which is a convenient walking distance. Recommend this lodging even though is only a 2 star.

I am shocked at many of the negative reviews. We had an absolutely awesome stay at Yavapai. Check in was quick, service was excellent, room was clean and updated. Perfect for what we needed for three days at the Grand Canyon. Loved the soaps in the bathroom. Nice, new windows. Worth it to stay close to the canyon.

Lots of parking and also lots parking at the cabins/lodge.
So beware. I originally made my reservations online through visitgrandcanyon site. Which apparently goes to a 3rd party. I canceled my reservation and rebooked using a common travel site and ta dah no extra taxes and fees. So be careful!
Canyon Village Market & Deli closer to Yavapai Lodge is also open - you can buy breakfast, sandwiches, coffee, pizza, dessert, etc
No, breakfast is extra. Also there is no microwave or fridge in the room
Yes pets are allowed; the rules of the lodge are that your pet remains in a crate while you are out of the room - they do have crates to provide on-site which is nice. Otherwise you can bring your pet with you as the park is dog friendly.
IDK, sry. Just phone call them in the lodge. They are very polite and could help you out.
I would call the toll free number, but I don't know what it is Google it - Yavapai Lodging There is another company here called Xanterra that has lodging as well as Delaware North
