Discriminatory hiring practices in my opinion! Never would have expected that coming from a business that's operated through the Church of Latter Day Saints! It seems they are ok with any and everyone volunteering to work their In return for goods that they sale at this store but will deny employment once you actually apply even when a referral is sent to the Bishop by a employee at the store who loved your work when you volunteered. Makes no sense and very disappointing! In my opinion there are employees who work in the store who only want a certain classe of people employed their. Never judge a book by it's cover & please do better God is not pleased with this!

A really awesome thrift store! Absolutely love this place. Really cool selection of stuff, and unlike Goodwill and valued village, this for the store actually prices their step appropriately. They have a great selection of frequently rotating the stuff, it's one of my favorite thrift stores for sure!

I had a job interview which begins at another address in the city meeting a pastor at a church which in tales brief conversation with the pastor, mostly pleasant, then sends you back to Deseret Industries with written confirmation you attended meeting with the Pastor. Now ready for the job interview with Man named "

This thrift store has a different feel than most in the area. It isn't quite as clothes focused as others (they still have plenty of clothes) and have a lot of useful houseware items and also the best board game selection I think I have found in the area. The media is really hit or miss. Keep in mind that this is an LDS organization and from what I can tell, most of the items are donated by other Mormons, and that is reflected in the selection. So, they cover family game night better than pretty well anyone, but their media and clothing are pretty tame. I wouldn't expect super funky finds here.

Inventory changes everyday. You would need to go back to the store and see what is currently available.
Typically donation places don't accept used pillows or bed sheets. Usually best to just dispose of them

I guess you should call the store and ask them
Yes
Not anymore. After August this year the dock's policy switched to turning away pianos and organs (the instrument and the squishy thing in your body 😋).
Sorry for not getting to your question sooner, Brian. DI does carry mattresses. They will always have new, fresh-from-the-box mattresses, however these will all be above the $100 price range. They also typically have donated second hand mattresses, although you can never be certain what type they have at any time.
The store doesn't/won't see your question. Call the store directly.
Drop off only unless it is a really special item that will fetch big bucks from my experience.
They'll take as donations
I believe there is. I do know for a fact that there is one in federal way.
You can drop of items for donation anytime during normal business hours. (Around back, outside.) Not sure if they accept used mattresses. Probably best to call about those.
