Great! The Doctors and support staff take as much time as needed with me and my complex issues unlike any other clinic and their 15 min. appointments. Their goal is to see me as healthy as possible! Finally, holistic care.

It does my heart good to take my dad to see the team at Iora. I have felt so alone in caring for him as he deals with COPD, but I leave every interaction - office visits, phone calls, email, and even a home visit (!) - feeling like there is a plan in place to do the best we can for him and I am not alone. And it's not about me, but dad also is constantly impressed and amazed by the knowledge, perseverance, and commitment of the team. Things are still going to be tough for him, but they have gotten him past some big hurdles and now that he needs assistance walking Patty even helped deal with the insurance company. His new Rollator just arrived. This is not your 'usual' doctor's office, but it's how they all should be.

Iora is dedicated to geriatric medicine and medicare patients. In addition to Primary Physician on staff at all times, they have dedicated Health coaches to assist & monitor our health status. Many classes are available for patients to join in at no cost, like yoga, line dance, Taichi, Qichong, zumba etc. Dr Jacob & our Health coach Patty Estrada are easily approachable for any referral to specialist like my Sleep Study at Virginia Mason Hospital which resulted in a better Cpap from Dr Lee. I fully recommend Iora for Medicare patients.

My primary is Dr. Cheryl Jacobs and Patty Estrada is my health coach. They have both been more than helpful in my care and are very attentive to my various aches and pains, even on my grumpiest days. Maureen keeps track of my INR for my A-Fib and does an excellent job in keeping it within the proper levels. I would recommend IORA to anyone needing senior medical care, knowing that one would receive the most excellent attention from the staff.

We’re Iora, a doctor’s office dedicated to providing quality primary care for adults 65 and older on Medicare. We’re here for seniors with quality care that’s focused only on you. As an Iora patient, you receive a primary care provider and Health Coach who are focused on your needs, and you are also supported by a care team. We practice relationship-based care, which means we take the time to get to know our patients and value the relationships we build with them.

We are open and welcoming new patients, and remain on call for our patients 24/7. While COVID-19 remains a threat, especially for older adults, we are encouraging video visits as the best first option for most care. For patients in need of in-person care, we are taking measures to safeguard the health of our patients and care teams in our practices. This includes cleaning the exam room after every appointment, wearing personal protective equipment, as well as requiring patients to wear masks when they are at the practice.

I'm 73 and have multiple medical issues. 2 previous heart attacks, cornary artery diases, 13 stents, COPD, GERD. I have in the past had multiple Doctors, A Cardiologist, Gastroenterologist, Urologist. My question is: How does Iora deal with this?

Hello Conrad, Since every patient's circumstances and health history is unique, it's really best if that determination is made after a conversation with one of our primary care providers. We practice relationship-based care and take a look at the whole person, and we spend the time to listen to our patients and understand their goals and concerns. To learn more, please give our care team a call.
