Our stay at Old Faithful Snow Lodge was 10/10. The lodge itself was beautiful and clean. Their gift shop & general store was one of the best in the park! My only regret is that we only stated there 1 night. I would/will definitely stay at the Snow Lodge again!

We stayed here two days - what a beautiful lodge! We could hear Old faithful geyser from our room. The bathroom door was a tight navigation, since it opens almost onto the commode. Be prepared for potentially long waits on the roads (up to an hour or more), since the animals own the land. If you feel out of breath and tired at minor exertions, it could be altitude sickness.

Roughing it for $350 per night. We stayed at the Snow Lodge for 3 nights in the spring, and regretted it. I chose the Snow Lodge mainly for its location, but it turned out to be a poor choice for exploring the whole park because it's in the busiest part of the park and really far from the less trafficked northern section which we enjoyed more. The rooms were small (almost no room to open luggage) with stained, dingy carpet and very dated. Our room was never cleaned during our stay. We called the front desk to request housekeeping service, and they still never came to even empty the trash. There was only one open restaurant within 30 miles which had exactly 5 dinner options (2 of them vegan), no air conditioning, no ability to adjust the heat in the room, rock hard beds, and no complimentary breakfast. This hotel is straight up not worth it. We'd have been better off staying in West Yellowstone or Gardiner.

We stayed at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge for two nights in one of their cabins. Check in and out was quick and easy. Staff was always friendly. They even helped us transport our luggage back to the pick up spot for the snow coaches. Everything was clean and well stocked. Would highly recommend for a winter visit!

You can rent snowshoes from the ski counter at the Gift Shop
I would call Snow Lodge & make reservations now, they are open ir they were in January. They have a call center
Snowmobile or snow coach only
Pets are allowed at Yellowstone, but the rules are strict. Call the park.
Call ahead if you are delayed, otherwise they may believe you are a no-show.
You need to call lodge. I saw groups of people being led by a ranger or a docent, giving lectures on this and that. They rode in a what looks like a small modified school bus.
Yellowstone is magical but the snow Lodge needs a lot of updating with very basic rooms and little in the way of comfort.
