Edit: I did eventually manage to get them to cancel my bill. TL:DR Wouldn't clean my teeth without x-rays, then sent me a bill for 200$ All I wanted was to get my teeth cleaned. I went in for my appointment and they wouldn't even do that, because I didn't have x-rays and my insurance wouldn't cover them so I asked not to have them taken. I sat in the chair for over half an hour while they tried to find dental records from my old dentist. Then the doctor came and looked at my teeth for less than 5 minutes and said they looked okay. Then they told me I'd have to reschedule because they had run out of time looking for my records and couldn't do my cleaning. A month later, I get a bill for over 200$ for services they didn't even provide me!

An absolute joke..highly do not recommend. If you want to be treated like a dog and be told what to do this is the place for you. Anyone or any company, corporation, department ect who stands behind their employees attempting to trample the rights of those who wish to visit should not be in charge of a high school fundraiser car wash...forget about a county health department. It's not the job of any citizen to be sure they dont accidentally hear or see something personal of another person in public. Espically in regards to medical information and patient confidentiality, it is specifically the doctor or institutions job to be sure their patients information is safe. And failing to do so is no excuse for throwing a temper tantrum about some video being taken. And to think that your "vision, values and beliefs" as stated on your website completely contradict they way your employees acted. And to make it worse the top management and leadership completely signed off on their actions. Truely sad and I certainly hope that eyes will be opened, ears will begin to listen to comprehend and not just to respond. And that the wood county health department and All of it's employees will act in a professional manner and not allow their personal emotions and feelings dictate they way they do their job aswell as the way they treat people. Our Vision Our vision is to provide the highest level of service and leadership Values and Beliefs We believe that quality of life along with life expectancy of people in Wood County should affect our actions. We believe community and environmental health needs are always changing. We value a strong collaborative relationship among board members, management, community partners and staff. ******We believe in fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement.*******I sure hope that continuous quality improvement begins to create a positive change

Yes, we do! You can find a list of our vaccine events at http://vaccine.woodcountyhealth.org/
I suggest to go online to the health department and see if the have answers there or maybe ask that question to them.
They are still working on when and where at the health department.
I think so
Unless you work around food, there is no rule about where or when employees can drink water. For licensed food operations, including grocery stores and such, employees should keep their beverages away from food preparation or serving areas and wash their hands after every time they get a drink. This may apply to cashiers at grocery stores or carry outs. You can call our Environmental Health office to get more specific answers at 419-354-2702.
If you were born in Ohio, you can get a copy from any health department in the state. If you want to get a copy from the Wood County Health Department, you can learn how on this web page. http://woodcountyhealth.org/vitalstats/vital_stats.html.
No, that is not a service we offer.
We provide immunizations to children up to 18 years old. If you are older than that, you should be able to get immunizations at a pharmacy.
