Came in late from out of town on a busy Thursday night in downtown SLO with a farmers market and Trunk-or-Treat. Finney’s got us in within 15-20 mins. Food and beers were great and service was fantastic. Definitely will try the one in Orange as it’s closer to home.

Love the vibe of this place AND the food! SLO location. Easy to get to right in the heart of downtown, just a block from one of the parking ramps. I like to sit at the bar and the staff is always great. Fun eclectic menu and my favs are the Poke nachos, margherita flatbread, Moroccan salad, Asian Ahi salad, and their Cajon 7-spice dry rub wings. Plus, this location has Skee-Ball!

I was impressed with the look of the bar/restaurant and crowds that Finney's drew, this is what made me decide to try it out. First and foremost, the staff here are incredible and were very friendly. I was also taken back by the number of beer taps and variety of beer types on top of their substantial cocktail/bar menu. I'd definitely come back for drinks only. However, their food was beyond underwhelming. I've never had beer battered wings, and due to this coating the wings were overdone and had picked up strange flavors from the frying oil. The pizza/flat bread wasn't much better. The cheese had this weird consistency, hard to describe but how I'd imagine eating glue would feel like. Just tacky and coats the mouth. The cheese steak eggrolls were unimaginative with the sweet and sour dipping sauce, it was so close to being something great. Me and the rest of my party had high hopes, we all did enjoy our drinks and the friendly staff -- but the food was a let down. I wouldn't come here for food -- but if you're looking for a beer and to catch a few plays of a sports game on their TVs, its a very nice spot to check out.

Love this place! The food was excellent (hickory bbq burger) and Shane, our waiter, was super helpful and friendly. Would visit again if ever in the area. 👍🏼😍
