Refused service. Usually a person is refused service due to health or saftey issues. Why was I refused service? Possibly due to my skin color? I had a short time to pick up my pre-orded food right next door at SLO provisions. A woman chased me in, not anouncing to me who she was and told me to move my car. I ran out to see if I was blocking someone. Once I figured out she was from the market, I told her I was coming in there next. She told me I did not come in and tell her that, so I need to move my car. Less than the 30 seconds it took me to pick up my order, she was calling a tow truck. I entered the store with my list for my ramen recipe and she loudly ancounced "Ma'am!! I need you to leave. I have asked 4 times!" No reason other than I "disrespected her," I suppose for not telling her ahead of time I was going to be coming in? She pointed to the camers and made me feel like a criminal. I understand the need to protect your parking spots, but I would rethink poor business decisions like this. If I was asian-looking, maybe she would have not denied me service. There are many complaints online about practices of this business accusing non-asians of theft, etc. Maybe the ACLU needs to her about these practices....

This is a pre-rating as I have not been to this magic location. I used to live in Hollywood California and was close to many wonderful asian grocery stores that I miss. Not so much anymore. Thanks new store!
