The gentleman at the disabled American veterans office are extremely helpful especially for someone like me who wasn't sure where to begin when filing a claim. They have wide knowledge of how to file VA claims and what the VA needs or wants to see when you file a claim. Your services are 100% free and they are friendly and extremely helpful.

They are very helpful, Don't even Think about driving anything bigger than a passenger vehicle in there, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY TYPE of R/V.

Great resource for veterans who are trying to navigate the system. Their service officers are very knowledgeable and know what benefits are available and offer assistance. They have resources for contacting VA to assist disabled vets achieve or increase their disability rating. And they were able to help us understand services for survivors after the veteran passes away. Be aware than they do not make appointments via phone. It is first come first served. But the help we received was worth the wait.

Since my separation from active duty, I've gone to the DAV Bremerton office on several occasions to have them assist me with my VA disability claims. In every instance, the volunteer staff provided me with excellent customer service by making sure that my VA claim paperwork was properly filled out and submitted. I can't say enough about their ability to help veterans in the local community get the benefits they have earned. As we say in the Navy, "BRAVO ZULU."

Do you have a 100% VA Service-connected rating or a rating at all for disability? You need 100% for Champus VA, but the pay as caregiver could be qualified for with a rating decision for service-connected disabilities and the form 21-2680 filled out by a doctor.
I would try local rv parks, but don't have anything to recommend, sorry
To start talking with them you don't need to bring in anything, but it does help to have your DD214 for them to start any paperwork. I've been a few times and each person I got was knowledgeable and helpful.
We have to have a place for it to go because we don't have room to store anything. You can call (360) 373-2397.
If you are talking about the DAV Van, it must be Kitsap County veterans. If going to Seattle or American Lake (253) 382-1343 or VA Bremerton Clinic (360) 373-2397. For items for pickup like medical supplies or wheelchairs, it depends on availability and need (360) 373-2397
Yes and check with them about days and times they are available. If I remember correctly they are only open 3-4 days a week and shut down by 2 pm
