The reviews below that say negative things are false. You aren't gonna lose take homes for one phone call, and she didn't speak to a rude person that's clearly a lie. And as for the Saturday issue, COVID caused that and there aren't people standing around anymore. Also, those folks were there because they failed to manage their programs properly and therefore didn't have Saturday take homes, Aegis didn't just put them outside for fun. Christopher is misinforming you and Eileen is not being truthful with anyone. I've had my issues with Aegis', but never like they claim. Neither has any of the sixteen people who I know go there. Disregard that false information, EYE am giving you the most accurate review, not them. Aegis treated me well for a number of years. After a painkiller addiction I tried and failed several times to get clean. 4 years ago I did, and it was with Aegis' help. They can be a bit tough to deal with sometimes, but only if you're not doing what you're supposed to be doing. If you truly work your program, you will succeed! Don't be afraid or ashamed, they will NOT shame you. That I can guarantee.

This place is horrible. When I first called, a very rude young lady answered the phone. After speaking to her, I didn't want to go at all! Unfortunately i had to go because i needed a specific medication that was prescribed there. When i saw the doctor, he was using another patients bad habits as a reference to how I would use my medication. Very unprofessional! After this bad presentation by the doctor, I decided that I didn't want to pay their doctor for bad judgement and medical practice. Aside from that trying to get into the place for treatment, good luck! I had to wait for over an hour in a parking lot full of people waiting to get in for their meds in 100+ degree weather! A very over taxed staff!

If you don't mind having to go down there every single day then its cool but if u have responsibilities then find somewhere else cause ur take homes won't last. They say they are trying to help you get on with ur life but really eventually they just mess with u and make things harder. Still clean 2+ yrs and I didn't have a phone for a 2 days and called first thing next morning and they won't let me come in so I don't loose all my take homes.

The best of any treatment clinic in this category hands down. This place has the best counselor's the best security and is ran so much more organized on a day to day basis then any of the garbage hole in the wall that the government funds. These guys actually care and this staff at Aegis Modesto saved me at a time in my life where I would have otherwise most likely died of not for them. Thank you so much for what you guys do there. I may end up back in Modesto too so I'll most likely see everyone there soon once again. ;)

Questions & Answers

I am at another clinic here for 6 months now trying to raise my dose to 150 @140 now they say they do not go any higher.said I need to c y'all no u go above 140 and is it a real pain to change clinics 140

At the Modesto-Mchenry clinic, if you want to go above 140mg they require you to get an EKG test first to make sure your heart can handle it. If you pass then they go up to 145mg but it becomes harder to get them to up your dose after that. I wanna say that only pregnant women go higher than that. However, people with conditions that cause them to metabolize fast can go up but in that case most times nthey just give you a split dose. Now, if you're already enrolled in the Aegis program and want to transfer as long as Modesto-Mchenry location is still accepting new patients it's not that hard to switch over. When I switched over 6+ years ago I was switching from a different company & it wasn't that hard.

You can call and they will put you on the waitlist. Keep calling. Call once a week every week and they get u in faster because it shows your motivated and dedicated. They told me I could be waiting at least 8 months and I called once a week every week and I got in a month later. They you have to go in for your intake.

What are the nessacsry steps to get into the clnic and start mantince

See above answer. After u get on you have to do a 15 day detox and if u relapse then u have to get back on waitlist and wait for 30 day detox. If you relapse again then waitlist and another (I'm not sure if its 60 or 90 day) detox. Then if u relapse again they will consider putting u on maintenance unless someone is pregnant then u fo straight to maintence

I have read where some recovery centers are using methadone AND Suboxone in their medicine assisted treatment programs. Is there a reason Aegis has chosen not to include the Suboxone element for their recovery program?

This is the first time I've ever heard of combining meds at a clinic, but I'll ask my councillor tomorrow and post the answer.
