The music was nice . I may have visited on a wrong day. There was a guest speaker and I really didn’t agree with what he was saying. I have been a Christian over 42 years, Born again , Spirit filled, pray in tongues… walking with my Jesus. The bottom line … PREACH THE WORD. The Bible says that once you are born again you are a new creature , dead to the sin nature and the Spirit of God dwells with you….. new creature! This man talking repeatedly kept telling us we had Jonah in us… Jonah was a lesson in the Bible no where does it say we have Jonah in us…before we are born again we have the sin nature because of Adam but once you are born again you are a new creature in Christ and the old man is dead…I do NOT HAVE Jonah in me I am a temple of the Holy Ghost!

It was through the people of SMCC that I first heard the Gospel message and was taught from the Bible from a young age. I began my walk with Jesus alongside the people of SMCC, and they remain my local church to this day. I'm very grateful and excited for the impact that SMCC has had and will continue to have on advancing Jesus' Kingdom in Utah.
