It is court and that means pay lots of cash or do some time! Well the latest most honorable Judge ( I can not remember his name)is very wise and most fare! He is more than willing to work with you. I suggest if you got caught braking any law in South Ogden go confessing your guilt and ask the honorable judge for leniency, it don't hurt to take some money with you either.

It is very frustrating that they advertise that they are open until 5 PM. But ALWAYS close several minutes early.

I was there for small claims court. But I was scheduled after 25 "criminal" cases. And let me tell you they were treated like criminals, every single person was fined. The smallest fine was $120 and the highest was $640. There was a little old lady getting fined, there was a deaf woman with sign language interpreter getting fined, there was even a lady getting fine for going 41 miles an hour.

You have to go into the court in front of the judge to ask him. He will give you more time but you have to go to the court you cannot call and do this you have to go in front of the judge Monday morning or Wednesday afternoon

Call the court clerks and talk to them. They are very nice. If you need longer, go ask Judge Renstrom for an extension. He's great to work with you as long as you go in before the due date.
