It was an amazing tour! We saw an orca family and many other animals. The crew is very knowledgeable about whales and it was fun learning about them. Do remember to bring both sunscreen and warm clothes, it got cold out there!

This was our first whale watching tour, it was an awesome experience! The staff and Captain were knowledgeable and friendly. We saw orca whales, a minke whale, sea lions, a sea otter, and an eagle. A fantastic day, we hope to go again in the future!

Awesome time. The ship was very clean. The food and beverages were great. Saw a family of Killer whales hunt for a meal. Captain knew how to position the boat so we could get the best views. Staff was so nice and accommodating.

This was hands down our favorite part of our trip to Seattle. Captain Carl is extremely knowledgeable about marine life and made us feel extremely safe throughout the trip. On our adventure we were able to see seals, sea lions, minke whales, and 2-3 pods of orca whales. The food/drink bar was the cherry on top of an amazing experience. Dress accordingly to ensure you can have the best experience possible. 10/10!

James, The exact menu aboard your vessel will vary depending on the departure location. All of our boats have a great selection of snacks, hot food items, and a variety of drinks including beer and wine. The complete menus for all three of our boats can be found on our website under the description of that particular boat which again, will vary depending on your departure location. For convenience, our onboard cafes accept debit or credit cards only, no cash.

The best time ever. I will ditto Island Adventure's response response. We went to Anacortes in August and September and saw so many whales and so much wildlife it was an incredible experience both times. There is a naturalist on board that takes pictures as well as narrates the trip and you can always buy there's some drive with really really good photos for approximately $30 it makes for amazing memories.

I know you had a tour in Seattle which I can not find anymore, which are the best months to see Orcas departing from Seattle (Puget Sound)?

Karla Garcia | Aug 11, 2022
Island Adventures (Owner) | Aug 12, 2022

Karla, We do not offer any tours from Seattle at this time. If you would like to see orcas, your best chances would be from Anacortes, which is our closest location to Seattle (approximately 2 hours north). Our full schedule can be found on our website, www.orcawhales.com.
