My wife, healthy baby, and I are so grateful for Beautiful Mountain Birth! This being our first child we did lots of research to find the best birthing team that would be of the most support to my wife, as well as being willing to educate/include me, as a first time husband offering support to my wife during labor. Angie and her amazing team did just that! They did an excellent job answering our questions, including, empowering, and educating both mom and dad on our new roles and things we can do to ensure we have a happy/healthy baby! They have also been a great support to reach out to Postpartum, thanks again for being excellent to our new little family, we will definitely return for round 2!

I originally planned on a birth center birth and I started visiting with Angie and preparing for a birth center birth. Near the beginning of third trimester I changed my mind and decided on a home birth. Angie was 100% supportive of whatever option I wanted. I had my baby in July while kneeling on my bedroom floor. Angie was prepared and attentive. Even before I knew I was ready to push, she had prepared the area so that the carpet would stay clean. The team arranged the bed, without me even noticing, so that right after my baby was born, I move to the bed and be comfortable. Even with a fast birth, they were able to get all the tools and everything they needed available and ready in case we needed something in a hurry. After my baby was born, they made sure everyone was healthy, I was comfortable, brought my husband and I both a meal, and left us to cuddle and meet our newborn. The newborn exams were done afterwards, right next to me so I could watch. My husband got to participate with the newborn exam by doing the weighing. I wouldn’t want it any other way. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Angie and her team are a group of incredible women who helped me through a very difficult labor. I had my third baby yesterday and thinking it would be smoother and faster then any other birth was very confident. Soon realizing this was my hardest labor I have had and feeling like I couldn't go anymore Angie and her team comforted me, built my strength, and started me on different tools to help Edgar descend. They listened to me and made sure all my requests were granted. They kept me at their facility until they felt it was safe for me to come home. I felt so safe the entire time and know if it weren't for their team I would have had a very traumatic birth experience. Thank you Angie, Breanne, Erin and the entire beautiful mountain birth team for your hospitality, love, support, and care. ♥️

If you're wondering if it's too late for you to switch, I can say that you likely still have time! Late in my pregnancy, there were a few issues that caused me to start looking for an alternative to the midwife group I was with, and to the hospital birth we had been planning. I met with Maria and Angie at 38.5 weeks, and everything was switched in time and we had an absolutely amazing experience! Their birth suite was very pretty and felt so clean (and the tub looked awesome!) but after talking about home birth options, we decided that was what we wanted! They came to our home and sent us a prep list of items to compile, and then brought over a birthing tub for us to inflate and fill once labor started. This was our second baby and we had prepared for another unmedicated birth--but labor stalled after about 6 hours. Maria and her team still came to check on me (and then throughout the day) until things progressed abruptly and we were lucky to have Angie make it just in time to get me in the tub and deliver our baby boy. Maria, Teryl, and the team made it a few minutes later and took care of absolutely everything. Less than 2 hours after delivery, everything was already clean and back to completely normal! We had never really considered a home birth before but now I can't even express how happy I was to be home, with no invasive procedures or hospital protocols to worry about, and to sleep in our own space the very night I gave birth! Was also super impressed that the first checkup (2 days) was also in our home--Maria came to us! It made such a difference, not having to bundle up a newborn for an office visit! The team is genuinely caring--even though I had only met them 2 weeks prior to our delivery, I feel like they quickly develop deep bonds with their clients. This team is made up of incredible women! Overall, a wonderful experience and if we have another child, I will absolutely be planning another home birth with Beautiful Mountain Birth!
