Well landfills it's very clean and tidey I would recommend going there to anybody and they have a pretty cool little second hand store. and its also great place to take olde used chemicals.

Wasatch Integrated accepts bikes for disposal at the Davis Landfill. If they're usable you can donate them tothe landfill thrift store and avoid the disposal fee. If they're unusable, the fee is $5 for District residents. Please be prepared to show proof of residency. Hours at the landfill are 7am-6pm, Monday through Saturday. Holiday Schedule The Landfill is CLOSED on: New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day The Landfill closes at 2 pm on: Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day Pioneer Day Labor Day Veteran’s Day the day following Thanksgiving Day Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, If a holiday falls on a Sunday, all operations will be closed. If a holiday falls on any other day, including Saturday, the above schedule will be followed. Please Note: At the Administrative Offices, if a holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday will be observed.

Clean fill is accepted at the landfill. The cost for disposal is $15 per ton. Clean fill may consist of dirt and sod, only. If there is anything else mixed in, it would no longer be considered clean fill, but solid waste. The solid waste disposal fee is $32 per ton. The landfill accepts used motor oil, in household quantities and containers (20 gallon max, 5 gal containers or smaller) at the Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off, located just inside the landfill gates and to the left. The Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off is free of charge for District residents (Davis and Morgan Counties, except Bountiful City). Hours are the same as the landfill, 7am-5pm, Mon-Sat. The Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off is only for District resident's use, so out of District residents should contact their local solid waste facility for options. Thanks for asking!

We don't currently accept recycling at Wasatch Integrated, but are in the process of constructing a mixed waste processing facility which will sort recyclables out of your curbside trash can. If you live within District boundaries (Davis and Morgan Counties, with the exception of Bountiful) this will start within the next year. Regarding your current recycling needs, please visit www.earth911.com for local recycling options. Wasatch Integrated will accept electronic waste (e-waste) from District residents (David and Morgan Counties, except Bountiful City) for no charge at its Household Hazardous Waste Facility, located just inside the main landfill gates and at your immediate left. The Davis Landfill is operated by Wasatch Integrated, which is a special service district serving Davis and Morgan Counties (with the exception of Bountiful, who has their own landfill) so anyone living within the boundaries mentioned is a resident of the District. Anyone is welcome to use the Davis Landfill, however the rates are different for out of District residents. Out of District residents will pay a flat fee of $25 for a single axle trailer or pickup truck or $32 per ton for larger vehicles or trailers, with a minimum charge of $25. Green waste product purchase (wood chips and compost) is the same cost for both in and out of District residents. Please visit our website or give us a call if you have additional questions.

If you have a large amount of tires (over 10) or very large tires, you will probably want to contact Liberty Tire Recyclers in Salt Lake for a better price.
