Sweet Protestant Episcopal church where we celebrated the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Covid has taken its toll on the congregants, and I will forever wonder what does the church do either the blessed bread and wine when not consumed? It is blessed- yes? So it seems odd to simply put it on a shelf in a cupboard? Lovely service and let us adore HIM! (Regarding St James being the first martyr….what does that make St Stephen?) re: Saint Stephen is recognized as a saint and the first martyr in Christian theology. He was condemned for committing blasphemy against the Jewish Temple, and was stoned to death circa the year 36.
