While they don't ship items, they are very clear on what they will or won't do. Any issues had previously in reviews are purely buyer not bewaring and reading the clear description of shipping/pickup terms. Both times I've come to pick up stuff the staff have been very friendly. Today I came to pick up a very heavy item and one of their employees offered to hold the door for me and walk to my car to help open it (while raining super hard). I couldn't find my keys so they offered to hold said heavy item and were understanding when I stupidly left my keys on a counter inside. They helped me out so much and that made my day. Had to write a review about it.

I purchased a lot at an online sale. They were happy to take my money $250 for it. They claim they tried to contact me, but I received nothing from them in regards to shipping. They resold my items and kept the money!! THIEVES!!! WARNING!!!

Currently, they do not have an open receiving day. However you can call the office and depending on what items you want to bring in, you can schedule an appointment.
I have not been to one of all typewriters, but have seen them come up occasionally, usually in a coin auction.
Every tuesday at 8:30 a.m. is their weekly variety, vintage and antique auction. On their web site under upcoming auctions you can see a list of auctions ranging from the weekly variety, the monthly furniture, the online, their catalalog, real estate and more. The auctions coming within the week are usually accompanied by pictures of what is going up for auction. Hess is a place you cannot miss out on going to whether you a novice or pro.
We accept items for our auctions every Wednesday between 8am-4pm.
