Ok ok ok ok, hear me out. You might think that because the name of this place is "deseret" that it might be empty and desolate but let me tell ya. This place was 🅱️oppin. Goodwill? Whack! Ross? Whack! Walmart? Whack! But Deseret Industries? Thats tight as Beanz! I was able to buy all sorts of stuff here and I was able to find some things I wasnt even looking for! What. Deal. And if you are super lucky. You will find a stuffed animal dog... the size and shape of a real dog. What more could you want? Name one thing more essential than that and I sir, will eat my hat. Thank you for your time and listening to my review. I hope all is well in the kindom of zion, Godspeed brethren, Se la vi!

Today we went in to drop off some donations and there was no wait!!!4 lanes to drop stuff off with all of them open on a Saturday. I was so pleased we didn’t have to wait 30 minutes to make our donations!!!!

The people are always in a rush and kind of rude when I go through the drive thru. Everytime I go there closed so I always call ahead to make sure and the lady I talked to was super rude and rushed me off the phone.

Go to DeseretIndustries.org to make an appointment.
Only for donations
Yes
You are correct. It is because of covid.
They were selling new mattresses earlier this year. I'm assuming they still do.
No
Not anymore, you just gotta come to the donation center on Tuesdays through Saturdays at 11-4PM on weekdays and 10-5PM on Saturdays
Usually it is but best to call and ask because of martin luther king day
It's different, depending on the location. Most of them begin taking them at between 10-11am and close donation times between 3-5pm. You can go on their website and go to the list of donation location hours if you need more help than that.. or just show up between 12-2 and all of them should be fine during those times. Hope that helps!
Same as anywhere else 6 feet apart and a mask
Yes. They have also created a new touchless donation system which you can see the guidelines for at this link: https://www.deseretindustries.org/donating
DI cannot accept or sell mattresses or box springs, along with items that hold or restrain children (carseats, etc), large appliances like refrigerators, and other items that are wet, mildewy, or broken.
You have to have an appointment now to donate because of Covid. You can sign up for a time by going to their website and choosing donation from the menu and the pick your location. www.deseretindustries.org
Yes
Sounds like you have to make an appointment.
Yes
My question also . .
I've noticed they do occasionally. .
Call and ask the manager, should be on the wall next to his desk. ;)
Ftfy ...to say I can't *come* in.. Yes, just call the store number.
No, the one to the right is the first one to open
I work for the American Fork store and we are always in need of more people!
Bagged Thank you!
A deluxe queen mattress is $219 box spring $135 The Supreme (which I had and loved) queen is $449 & box spring $150. I believe the prices I just got are still correct.
They have their own brand that they sell, and once in awhile they will take them in and sell on the floor. But they have to be in excellent condition. So if your lucky enough to find them they are a terrific deal!
Ignorant means lack of knowledge. By your review, I am assuming you mean that she was rude.
If it's garbage, throw it away.
