Theyre open. They've been open a couple of months. But they keep changing what times of day they will post movies to show or not and they stopped taking tickets at front you have to check in on the side where you saw those people and they control the flow of who goes in. It's annoying but I'm glad they're open.

One screen at AMC Southcenter does have recliners: the Dolby Cinema (theater 9, first one on the right hand side as you go in).

They wont change pricing.. they're already losing money. If you have symptoms or high risk factors stay home! If you're healthy, the theaters are nearly empty at this point, so you can get many all to yourself. They only sell out half of auditoriums now for social distancing rules. No need to avoid public spaces if you're healthy and don't have risk factors.. theaters won't allow large groups. Ive gone and had several screens all to myself! Pretty fun :)

The great thing is there are discount tickets, under $6.00 on Tuesdays and half price small combo, popcorn and pop or ice combo for just over $5.00 too

Wednesday for Toy Stoy 4 an Adult or senior 60+ is $6.29, Kids 2-12 $6.29 in fact it is $6.29 each for every age two and above for Wednesday 10:00am showing of Toy Story 4. For your convenience you can also go online and reserve seats if you want. I know you can also sign up online for some sort of rewards program to get perks, skip lines, deals, free movies and such, because my 25 year old Son has that. Hope this helps.

AMC south center is best theater in the area. & You can & likely should (it's easy & convenient) buy them online with an AMC app or the website as there are assigned seats tickets.

Dolby cinima has far better video and sound. The video has a far better contrast ratio (think HDR) and has a bit better detail and the sound source is better quality and it's tuned for the theater. At AMC Southcenter, they also have better seating than standard, 3D, and IMAX.
