The most effective people in this office are the secretaries, nursing assistants and the nurse practitioner. Dr Nora was amiss in my treatment having me on such a strong diuretic that a nephrologist from another practice said I could have had a heart attack. Dr Giraldo likes to talk more about himself than listen to the patient. I had the bad luck of being admitted into the hospital at night when he was in call. I needed my nighttime prescribed medications and he yelled at the nurse and told her I was not going to get any medicine. I had to threaten to leave in order for him to call in the order. He is arrogant and irresponsible in treating patients and Dr Nora stands behind him so she is no better. I once respected her, but when a doctor tells you she doesn’t want to take the time to answer your questions when you had been admitted into the hospital twice for dangerously low potassium levels, it is time to get a new doctor.
