Order two corns and left a tip as a courtesy. They messed up a twice. Nothing wrong with that at all what so ever. Just say sorry and it's okay. But the lack of acknowledgement and the giggling (maybe not at my situation but then again maybe yes) raised a few red flags, for all I know I could be eating an elote con chile, limón mayonesa y un pollito(loogie/spit). Maybe not, but better safe then sorry... 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was excited to try Nevería for the first time tonight. The food was delicious, but I didnt appreciate being racially profiled. I went in with a friend and we both ordered tacos. The only difference in how we ordered was they ordered in Spanish and I in English. Nothing else. Their tacos came out normal with cilantro, onions, and limes while mine came out Americanized with lettuce, tomato, and shredded cheese. I wasn't asked if I wanted that nor did I ask for my tacos to have those toppings. While this may seem and be minor, the blatant intent behind the actions, are not.

I have not paid with a card...what I can recommend is that you always check your change in cash and your order if it is to go since the boys who serve there are very, very distracted, they charge more and do not pay attention to the orders I have no bad opinion about your products.

Why this place don't get a good service for your costumer? Your costumer pay for your paycheck. That kind your people's need to be more friendly to your costumers.

I don't work there but I know the place and the area. It can be a rough area with difficult people having a hard time. I went over there recently with my kids for a ice cream cone. There was two homeless people with signs and a lady stumbling around with a fifth of liquor in her hand ask everyone for $2, this was around 1pm. It is hard to keep a family business running during these times.
