This place is great. I've bought 2 bikes from them and enjoy having a place to get rid of old bikes rather than just throw them away or leave them on the curb. Staff are incredibly friendly and willing to answer any questions.

Great for the West A community and beyond. Always helpful and generous. Great for the kids in the area. please be generous with the free will donations that keep places like this open! Nothing is ever free.

We have free public repairs on Monday nights this summer 👍
Bikes are free for kids. Adults must volunteer to help with bikes in order to get a bike of their own. Bike Kitchen is open on Monday nights. Check out their website for more information.
Hi Nancy, we're still full, so not accepting bike donations. That may change in the next couple weeks, so stay tuned! Thanks!
We have free repairs Monday nights from 5-7pm. Note we're closed for July 4th
Once we're open for repairs (hopefully in the next few weeks), we can definitely do that for you. If you already have the training wheels and know they fit it'll go even faster. If not, we have a stockpile of wheels that should work. Stay tuned here, on our website, or Facebook for details on when we open.
Hi John, We're open for public repairs and donations on Monday evenings and donations only on Thursday evenings. Child bike giveaway sign up is available on our website.
They're still closed due to the pandem. You'll probably have to wait or you can check on their Facebook for details.
Yea, sorry we had trouble with getting calls and messages since we're an all-volunteer organization with no dedicated office staff, so we decided to remove our phone number. Email or Facebook works great!
They have adult bikes and kids bikes.
Call Kendall's Auto, which is the same number as the Lincoln Bike Kitchen. Ask them to see if they can arrange something to pick up the bikes!
The Bike Kitchen has every part that you need for repairing your bike. Call Kendall's Junkyard on Southwest 1st Street and ask when they are open and how much it would cost to fix your bike!
Must call them or show up on days that the Bike Kitchen is in service.
The bikes that you get from the bike kitchen are "free" for everyone. Depending on your age you will be required to put in a certain amount of service hours before you are allowed to choose a bike to make for yourself.
