Very nice older hotel with many new renovations yet they kept the charm of the original design and architecture. The service was nice. The spa in the hotel is definitely something worth putting on the to do list. Very relaxing.

The spa was wonderful. Had a great couples massage with Sandy and Teela, they did a great job on our sore legs. The concierge, Katie was knowledgeable and very helpful in picking out daily activities for us. She is a gem. At the bar on the second floor, they needed help, there was no wait service on some of the days, so you had to go up to the bar to order your drinks. All in all, a restful vacation in Saranac Lake.

Positive: Location was great, staff very nice and helpful and rooms were clean. Negative: On request maid service was disappointing, hopefully that service gets restored after covid. No laundry service on site makes long stays challenging. Upcharge for a Last minute request from a king for 2 guest to double queens when the hotel was empty

We had our tasting dinner 1/28 for our wedding in July and it was AMAZING!!! Hotel Saranac totally exceeded our expectations. Myra is awesome at her job and covered all my questions and concerns with ease. She’s very personable and is making the whole wedding planning process easier!! Also, Chef Mike is phenomenal and his work speaks for itself!! Please let Mike know we were VERY pleased with the food we tasted! It makes us even that much more excited to share our special day with our close friends & family at this beautiful hotel!!
