Questions & Answers

When can we expect a referral from Forefront to get my Basal Cell Carcinoma removed? Saw the doctor 8/18/22 and was told I would have to see a specialist in St. Louis. Am I supposed to find the specialist myself? I would appreciate some guidance.

Forefront Dermatology will evaluate and treat your dermatology condition regardless of insurance. For patients without insurance, an upfront charge will be required before seeing the physician. Once you are evaluated, the dermatologist will determine the charges and bill you for any remaining balance. Fees will differ for surgical appointments. Discounts for prompt payment are available to patients with no insurance coverage who pay their bill in full within two weeks of receiving their first statement.

On the front or the back of your insurance card you will find a phone number that will allow you to contact your insurance provider to determine if we are in or out of network.

You'll have to pay whatever your specialist copay is.. specialist office visit copays are usually higher than your normal primary doctor office visit copays. Most insurance cards have your copay amount on them for primary doctor and specialist. If there is not a copay amount listed on your insurance card then the office does not collect a copay
